I am using my Bruda heated eye pads twice a day to help with my dry eyes. I sit with a timer on for 12 minutes and just breathe and relax and I am always so surprised when the timer rings. Those 12 minutes twice a day are precious time to just be and I am blessed as I feel comfortable and safe. I will now add the breathe work suggestion to soften the belly. How do I soften the belly when I inhale? I tell it to soften but it actually feels firmer as I inhale.

I love this ritual and those moments are prescious safety is the new currency in this world. For a softer belly while breath focus on bringing the air in slowly and steadily through the the nose bring the air in across the roof of the mouth and allow your belly to drop softly as your chest fills up - you will feel a slight rise in the belly and yet it will soffen - try that ant let me know!

To me, this is my 'stop'. I come here, in this (still) tender space of authors express, and I "listen" with my body ... I let the words take me on a journey I wasn't anticipating, yet is presenting. Thanks for the opportunity. I'll be sharing this blog with a client that came to mind.

What a beautiful note. Allowing life to live through us and to feel with our body. Thank you for this and for sharing.

I don’t usually stop and with no technology or other distraction. I’m finding enjoyment in that, especially sitting out in our backyard and listening to whatever is going on around me…bird song, a plane, flying over, distant sounds of traffic, a train whistle. Also gratitude for where I am.
